Facilities Manager - 72953

Cobalt is working alongside a giant of the Facilities industry as they look to bolster their team in the East Midlands by hiring a dedicated FM to provide the total facilities services to a mixed use portfolio throughout Lincolnshire. This role will offer a huge amount of a variety, from commercial offices, to heritage buildings, to retail, to leisure, and educational facilities, and give you full ownership of your diary in order to give you the best work-life balance possible. This is a role that will combine a home-base, with occasional head office visits, and regular property inspections, making it essential that you have access to a vehicle and a UK drivers licence.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a mixed-use portfolio throughout the county;

  • Assisting your account manager to help create a successful and sustainable FM strategy;

  • Managing the work of 6-8 direct line reports, including specialist maintenance staff;

  • Overseeing the planned and reactive maintenance service for building plant and fabric, including CAPEX projects when necessary;

  • Actively managing the work of external suppliers across soft and hard FM service lines;

  • Ensuring full health and safety compliance at all times through the portfolio;

  • Utilising the CAFM system in order to provide an effective and efficient FM service.

Our client is looking for someone with a strong grasp of hard facilities management (within a total FM environment) and experience with NC3 contractual obligations , as well as with SFG20. You will have a full UK drivers licence, and support your H&S knowledge with at least an IOSH.
