Cobalt is representing a high-end real estate business, as they build upon the impressive growth of the business last year, by hiring a Facilities Management for a commercially-focused estate that is due to PC in Q2/Q3 of this year. Forming a crucially part of the newly-formed on-site team, our client is looking for a dedicated FM to oversee the management of the physical asset, delivering a top-tier total facilities provision to occupiers, with a particular focus on hard services. Having defied the odds to grow during 2020, and with a strong pipeline of further developments, this is the ideal chance to join a new venture with an established name in the UK property market, working on recently-mobilised Grade A assets, and progressing within an organisation that is going from strength to strength.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a comprehensive maintenance plan for the retail and commercial elements of the estate, including planned and reactive maintenance;

  • Overseeing the snagging process for the development, post-completion;

  • Building strong working relationships with the occupiers, and other key stakeholders;

  • Assisting with the procurement process, and leading the management of suppliers for external services, with a focus on M&E;

  • Ensuring full compliance with UK H&S legislation;

  • Managing service charge budgets in conjunction with the Estate Director.

Our client is seeking an ambitious individual who is looking to build on their established career in the Real Estate world. An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is essential, whilst a previous background or qualification in M&E would be viewed favourably. Equally importantly will be your ability to bring together multiple stakeholders in order to deliver a modern, top tier total facilities service in a high-end commercial environment.
