Cobalt are working with a rapidly expanding commercial EV parking real estate investor-developer. They are a middle and last mile logistics expert and acts as an introductory intermediary for businesses looking for middle and last mile storage solutions for their commercial fleets.

Our client works across the UK and Europe, delivering fleet storage solutions, B2B and B2C locker solutions, and hyperlocal logistics hubs to a variety of end users.

The client has recently secured a large amount of equity backing for the purpose of developing real estate into bespoke electrified parking and vehicle storage facilities.

Role Summary

The client is looking for a Finance Manager to assist with the delivery of its internal and external reporting requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with group consolidation for reporting at the parent level.

  • Assistance with preparation of technical accounting analysis for internal accounting policies and external financial reporting outputs.

  • Fair value accounting for underlying investments (equity and real assets).

  • Assist with the production of annual statutory group and entity accounts in FRS102 format.

  • Management of external service providers to produce subsidiary information.

  • Management of external service providers for tax filings.

  • Assist with delivery of Fund reporting requirements.

Skills / Experience Required

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).

  • Real Estate experience preferred by not necessary

  • Multi-jurisdictional reporting experience preferred by not necessary.

  • Proven technical ability including understanding of FRS102 and IFRS concepts, including ability to produce or review technical accounting memos to guide internal accounting policies.

  • History of implementing financial processes and best practices.
