Financial Accountant

Cobalt are working on a leading private equity real estate investor, focusing on pan-European properties, currently seeking a Financial/ Group Accountant to join their team.

Due to considerable growth over the last 12 months, this is a great opportunity for an individual to gain exposure to senior senior stakeholders, but also work with some of the biggest names within real estate and private equity.

Tasked with taking ownership of the finance function, this role will involve (but not limited to):

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly reports

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts and managing the audit process

• Responsible for quarterly VAT returns and annual tax compliance activities

• Oversight of asset management fees across the group

• Supporting Group Finance team with in-depth analysis

• Support the preparation and presentation of internal reporting to Senior Management across the business

• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

Experience required:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) or studying torwads ACA/ACCA/CIMA

• Experience of working within real estate, private equity or investment management

• Excellent excel skills

• Work well within a team and would like to get involved with presenting to senior stakeholders
