Financial Controller, Luxembourg

Cobalt is working with a high-profile asset management firm who specialise within the lucrative Real Estate industry. Our client focuses on private markets and global investment solutions. Our client is currently seeking a Financial Controller to join their Asset Management team. The successful candidate will be based within Luxembourg and will liaise with global offices within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the finance function for the Real Estate and Private Equity investments

• Develop and maintain financial, management and investment reporting for group's Luxembourg SPVs and funds

• Providing finance support to the company's European divisions and investment teams

• Act as a Manager reviewing all work prepared by Fund Administrators

• Support complex transactions execution for company's investments

• Checking valuation of underlying investments

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of LUX GAAP and a good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP

• High experience within the Real Estate investment/ finance industry; Private Equity experience in also an asset

• Good understating of Tax, VAT, transfer pricing local environment

• ACCA/ ACA qualification (or equivalent) and a degree in accounting/ finance or business administration
