Fund Accounting Manager

Our client provide high quality Alternative Investment services, with a focus on Private Equity and Real Estate funds. They are currently looking for a Manager to join their growing fund accounting team in Luxembourg.

You will join a human-sized, multinational funds consultancy and get exposure to some top tier Real Estate and Private Equity firms. They offer great career prospects as the company has a fast growth, currently on-boarding a lot of new clients.

As Manager you will be primarily responsible for the supervision of day-to-day administration, work closely with the team and the Senior Management to ensure the delivery of excellent client service.

Duties include:

• Lead a team of accountants and review their work regarding the daily operations of several alternative investment structures

• Review of accounting reports

• Ensure all client requirements are met on time and with high quality deliverable

• Coach, support and develop team members

• Taking accountability of the client relationships

• Participate in key management meetings and decisions

• Be point of contact with clients and third parties (lawyers, auditors)

• Act as Director of Funds and other entities

Technical knowledge & skills required:

• Excellent knowledge in accounting, reporting and financial statements preparation

• Previous experience in working on funds, ideally in Real Estate/ Private Equity(some at least in Luxembourg)

• Good technical knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP

• Experience in leading and developing teams

*Valid work permit in Luxembourg is required
