Fund Accounting Senior Officer

A leading and global Fund Administrator is looking for a Fund Accounting Senior Officer to support them with the accounting and full administration of a portfolio of clients. The individual in this role will also act as the main point of contact for all matters relating to the account.

Responsibilities will include:

  • You will be actively involved in the initial setup of any new funds and liaising with independent parties (tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries)

  • Taking care of the day-to-day operations of the funds and following up with third parties, including investors and fund managers

  • Handling the fund accounts and preparation of periodic reports and regulatory reports for the fund entities

  • Responsible for the preparation/review of calculations

  • Organising and participating in board meetings and shareholders' meetings

  • Mentoring and reviewing the work done by other members of the team

Key requirements:

  • Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA qualified

  • Highly IT literate, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and work at pace with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Preparation of financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS

  • Confident written and verbal communicator - comfortable with working with external clients
