£40,000-£50,000 + bonus

A Fund Analyst is required within a well-established Real Estate Investment Manager, working closely with the investment team and relevant stakeholders to provide detailed reports of the performance metrics.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Property accounting background looking to move into a reporting and analytically-based role. The successful candidate will build on their Real Estate funds knowledge, while gaining experience in Pan-European funds, through intense data analysis and drivers of performance in the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Updating the performance database using Excel, using accounting data from the firm's established funds to produce performance calculations at a fund and property level
  • Liaising with the Fund Services team to check unusual data
  • Provide and sign off (after training completion) of fund data for market benchmarking and consultants on Fund and Property level to MSCI and INREV as well as Client level for specifics funds and investors
  • Working with MSCI and INREV platforms to receive relevant index or benchmark data and provide support in accessing marking data when needed
  • Provide analysis to London Fund Managers for board papers and quarterly reports
  • Ad-hoc requests, including IRRs, market data and benchmark comparisons
  • Supporting client services

Key Requirements

  • An analytically minded individual, with a solid accountancy background
  • Relevant Property Funds analytical experience is essential, including strong Excel skills, knowledge of formulas, functions and chart creation
  • Strong communication, in order to liaise efficiently with both internal and external parties
  • Technically minded, including strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Experience in benchmarking is desirable
