Cobalt is currently working with a pan European real estate company who are looking to expand their finance team. Our client is leading the market in investment, development, and management of core logistical assets. As they go through this period of successful business growth there is a need for support with daily operations and the administration of nominated funds.

The successful candidate will be key to assisting the finance team on a day-to-day basis in areas such as monitoring payments, investor reporting, financial reporting, and the preparation of management accounts.

This role will give the opportunity to develop core real estate fund accounting skills with full study support included.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing of transactions across designated fund entities. This includes processing payments, bank reconciliations and posting cash journals.

  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.

  • Assisting in the preparation for year-end audit

  • Quarterly VAT returns

  • Preparation of investor drawdown, equalisation, and distribution notices

  • Preparation of quarterly investor statements

  • Ad hoc tasks such as: Assisting with new investment checklists and extracting relevant cashflows from financial models for the wider business.


  • 2:1 or above at degree level with strong A levels / GCSE's.

  • Quick learners, with confidence to work independently.

  • Strong excel skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
