Group Supply Chain Manager
Cobalt is delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis with a leading homes and neighbourhood developer. Our client operates as a developer and contractor with projects ranging from large residential high-rise developments through to brownfield regeneration schemes.
Job role
Concentrating on the material supply chain but with an understanding and involvement with elements of subcontract procurement, this role is based around supporting our clients Commercial Committee by developing, agreeing, implementing and managing strategic framework agreements for the supply of materials to the organisation.
Using established market knowledge and best practice supplier relationship management techniques, the successful candidate will deliver market leading relationships together with operational, technical and commercial benefits to the business.
Core to achieving this will be the successful integration of framework agreements into all business operating companies and their subcontract supply chains and managing the related internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Ensuring alignment of strategic activity to operational needs at all times, to maximise the available benefits whilst securing the successful delivery of our schemes.
Requirements:
Experienced procurement professional with a track record in the delivery of large scale direct and indirect strategic supply agreements in the housing / construction sector
House builder, developer or main contractor background
Ideally MCIPS and MCIOB qualified
Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
Credible, and comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
Good team player
Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view
Keen to deliver exceptional customer service
Able and willing to travel to all offices and project locations
Remuneration
£65,000-80,000 + Bonus & Benefits
