Head of Facilities Management - 73084

Cobalt is delighted to be representing a values-orientated hospitality brand as they look to hire their first Head of Facilities Management to form a crucial part of the next phase of their expansion. A business that values authenticity & innovation, our client is looking to turn the hospitality industry on its head, creating and managing spaces with soul for customers, and building a market-leading property team in the process.

Financially backed by a global giant of asset management, our client is looking to quadruple in size over the coming years, and has an impressive development pipeline already locked in through to 2022. With approximately 19 properties open across the UK and a keen eye on European expansion, this hire will be the driving force behind shaping and implementing a coherent FM strategy for the future of the business.

This is a home-based opportunity with UK-wide travel, at your descretion as you retain full flexibility over your diary, whilst all travel will be completely paid for by the company without need for expensing it.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping and implementing a proactive Facilities Management strategy for the growing portfolio;

  • Building, developing, and managing a market-leading maintenance team;

  • Ensuring H&S compliance is achieved in every property;

  • Implementing a cohesive PPM system for management of building plant, lifts, BMS systems, and building fabric;

  • Working alongside the construction team to manage the soft-landings process of newly mobilised properties;

  • Working alongside the head of procurement to appoint specialist service providers, then ensuring the set SLA's are adhered to;

  • Implementing a CAFM system to measure and track all building maintenance and H&S issues;

  • Developing an FM strategy that promotes sustainability.

Our client is looking an emotionally-intelligent FM leader, with a strong background in the hospitality sector with ambitions of providing a better-standard of FM service. You'll be confident in your ability to shape and innovate a facilities service, as well as building a newly formed team to embody the same philosophy of continuous improvement, empowering future leaders of the business and the industry at large.

An IOSH or NEBOSH is essential, whilst IWFM membership or further qualifications in FM and engineering would be desirable.

If you're looking to leave your mark and build something fresh in the Facilities Management world, rather than going through the motions as another cog in the machine, our client is looking to speak with you
