Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in London to recruit an interim Head of Security, paying £240-£275 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company) for an initial 3 month contract with a view to go permanent.
The successful candidate will be looking to develop their existing Security Management skills and will be expected to proactively contribute to the success of the department, sometimes in a very demanding environment. You should ideally have experience of working in a pressurised environment and in a security role, with a strong understanding of CCTV, access control and various alarm systems. You must be physically fit with good communication skills, along with the personality and experience to relate to people in all situations.
You will have/be:
An NHS accredited Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS).
Extensive experience working within a healthcare setting.
Experience of working effectively and autonomously across networks, with wide ranging stakeholders including user involvement.
Proven significant leadership experience.
The ability to assimilate and respond to information quickly making effective decisions, autonomously.
A team player and have strong lateral management skills.
An effective communicator at all levels.
A full range of IT skills.
