Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in Hertfordshire to source an interim Health & Safety Advisor, paying £210-£230 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company) for an initial 6-12 month contract.
Our client is seeking a strong individual who can come in and hit the ground running with undertaking health and safety risk assessments, policies and Accident & Incident follow ups. You will be adaptable, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work quickly and decisively. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and play a key role in the Health & Safety Team, and will provide expert input. Our client is particularly interested in a get up and go type of candidate who has the ability to pick up technical issues and resolve them.
You will have/be able to:
Undertake health and safety assessments across the Trust's estate.
Undertake health and safety policies.
Pick up technical issues and resolve them.
Complete Accident & Incident follow up duties.
Previous experience within the public sector (preferably Healthcare).
Health and Safety qualification (preferably NEBOSH).
