Infrastructure Private Equity Analyst

We are working in partnership with a highly regarded and exciting infrastructure & energy fund in Switzerland to hire an Investment Analyst. Having been established for several years with an excellent Investment Team, the fund has developed a strong track record and multibillion portfolio of assets in the renewable energy space across Europe. In the process of raising a new fund, the group need to hire a Senior Investment Analyst to support the senior members of the team with the origination and execution of investments. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior infrastructure investment banking professional to join a growing fund where you will have the opportunity to regularly invest and build a long term career.

The Analyst will;

• Support the senior members of the Investment Team with the origination and execution of deals across Europe.

• Conduct market research and analysis to generate investment opportunities and strategies.

• Take full responsibility for building financial models from scratch and valuations.

• Support on conducting due diligence as well as overseeing third party advisers.

• Lead on developing Investment Committee presentations and memos.

• Conduct portfolio analysis and create reports for senior management.

• Support senior members of the team with portfolio management responsibilities including developing strategies and operations as well as regularly interacting with senior management.

Interested candidates must;

• Be currently sitting in an Analyst or equivalent position within the Infrastructure Team of either an international investment bank, fund, advisory firm or corporate.

• Have a strong understanding and interest in the infrastructure and renewable energy market.

• Possess an exceptionally strong and all round technical skill set with the ability to build financial models from scratch.

• Hold a finance, engineering, mathematical or equivalent degree from a highly regarded university.

• Be fluent in English and fluency in German or French is preferred but not necessary.

• Have excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Be highly motivated and interested in joining an infrastructure and energy PE fund.
