Junior Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity for a new graduate who is looking to kick-start a career in building and construction.

Cobalt is looking for a motivated candidate to join our client's small team and assist the Lead Project Manager with the running of multiple sites in South West London and Surrey. This is an opportunity to be involved with some exciting projects, both residential and commercial, including a warehouse fit out in Cranleigh, a large new build in New Forest and a new build and renovations in Sussex. They have multiple projects beginning over the coming months, so the candidate will be assisting to run and organise the day to day operations of these projects.

There will be travel required in this role, so a driver's license is required and a company car will be provided.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Organising sub-contractors and suppliers

- Regularly liaising with clients

- Ensuring the projects are running smoothly and to schedule

- Monitoring and managing varying sites

- Site visits

- Meeting with consultants

- Design and progress meetings

The ideal candidate:

- Recent graduate in a building, surveying or construction

- Ambitious self starter

- High levels of initiative and ability to work autonomously

This role will be fast paced and requires someone who can adapt and think on their feet. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior candidate to gain excellent experience in the building and construction industry.
