Lease Accounting Manager

Lease Accounting Manager, Permanent, Birmingham, £50,000 Per Annum

My client is a global real estate consultancy looking for a Lease Accounting Manager to join their growing finance team. This role will function to provide month ends accounts and drive IFRS16 reporting.

Main duties include:

• Producing month end reporting for clients

• Assisting with client budgeting/forecasting requirements

• Producing month end journals to include IFRS16 and Non-IFRS16

• Reviewing month end reports prior to client submission

• Non-resident Landlord monitoring and reporting

• Reviewing and signing off monthly governance pack with Account leads

• Assisting with Annual SOC Audit

• VAT reporting

• Ensuring client requirements and quality procedures are followed at all times

• All other ad-hoc requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)

• Knowledge and exposure of IFRS16 in previous roles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiar with basic property accounting concepts

• Excellent time management skills

• IT literate - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
