The Birmingham office is seeking a Leasing Surveyor who is looking for an opportunity which offers genuine scope for career development.

What's required:

  • Managing the enquiry pipeline and undertaking viewings, ensuring an excellent viewing experience
  • Working as part of a team to achieve sales targets
  • Help drive deals through to completion
  • Drive improvements to ensure that they optimise their product
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with internet brokers, retained agents and other third parties
  • Gain an understanding of the competition in the technology space, including take-up, availability, quoting rents and quality of space available
  • Attend networking events to generate awareness of the Group and identify potential new customers
  • Help with attracting early stage technology companies to apply for their support programmes
  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial and Asset Manager to ensure the letting strategy links to the asset management plan for each building
  • Work with the project management team to manage fit outs and ensure a smooth handover to customers
  • Work effectively with all other departments within the Group to support in the delivery of company objectives and projects

My client is looking for:

  • Strong knowledge and a demonstrable experience in commercial office sales and marketing, across digital and traditional channels
  • You'll be passionate about people and have great verbal and written communication skills
  • A highly organised and motivated person with the ability to multi-task and deal with a wide range of customers from SME's to multinational businesses
  • Excellent presentation and networking skills and an interest in attending various events to build profile
  • A customer service approach
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proactive and organised approach to work
  • Team worker and effective communicator
  • Desire to succeed and the drive to deliver results to meet ongoing targets
  • Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical capabilities
  • The ideal candidate would demonstrate a sound understanding of commercial property leasing and licensing and be well networked in the Birmingham property market. Experience or a genuine interest in the technology sector would be advantageous.
