Our client is a leading property management company who are looking for a Lettings Accountant to join their team based in Richmond. The right person for this role will enjoy a fast paced environment where they will eventually be promoted to a Team Leader; the role offers progression and long term security. The successful candidate will be working remotely until restrictions allow otherwise.

Main Duties:

• Looking after a portfolio of properties across all lettings requirements, dealing directly with tenants and landlords across all queries

• Managing a small team of accounts assistants, ensuring completion of tasks for both Rent and Commercial Service Charges

• Managing a small portfolio of Service charge commercial blocks.

• Processing payments of deposit returns to outgoing tenants, as well as ensuring all accounts are accurate for new tenants on the system

• Processing card payments ensuring a clear line of communication is maintained with the tenant and that the accounts are balanced

• Ensuring suppliers invoices are processed and approved

• Maintaining accounts and ensuring recoverable charges are handled in a timely manner

• Chasing outstanding rent and setting up payment plans as required

Personal Specification:

• Strong understanding of Lettings and residential properties

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills

• Good Excel knowledge

• work well in a team

• Management skills - bonus
