My client are a prominent Estate Agents, and are seeking a Lettings Accountant to join their team based in South West London. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast paced environment where they interact with numerous people daily and strive to problem solve in a quick and friendly manner.

Main Duties

• Overseeing a portfolio of properties across all lettings requirements, dealing directly with tenants and landlords across queries and demands via phone, letter and email

• Processing payments of deposit returns to outgoing tenants, as well as ensuring all accounts are accurate for new tenants on the system

• Processing card payments ensuring a clear line of communication is maintained with the tenant and that the accounts are balanced

• Ensuring suppliers invoices are processed and approved

• Maintaining accounts and ensuring recoverable charges are handled in a timely manner

• Chasing outstanding rent and setting up payment plans as required

Personal Specification

• A deadline oriented individual, with the ability to multitask and prioritise well

• Great communication skills, both written and verbal

• A working understanding of the property sector and lettings accounts
