Lettings Coordinator
Based Aldershot
Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm
Salary DOE (plus benefits)

My client, a residential property business with a focus on changing the rental experience, is seeking a Lettings Coordinator to be based on-site within a newly built neighbourhood. This key hire will manage the lettings and allocation functions across the London and Hampshire portfolio, and will include a weekly visit to Waterlooville. The role is based in a beautiful listed building and will see the successful applicant working alongside an ambitious and supportive team, with opportunity for growth and personal development under highly experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Managing resident on-boarding experience from first contact to move in

  • Uploading affordable rent adverts to the Local Authority portals

  • Referencing

  • Submitting household data

  • Preparing lettings paperwork and ensuring compliance with gas cert, electrical cert, How to Rent etc

  • Attending viewings/check in appointments in Hampshire (Aldershot and Waterlooville) and occasionally London

  • Conducting Home Demos at check ins and supporting residents with any queries

  • Liaising with disabled families to receive requirements from Occupational Therapists

  • Exceptional customer service

  • Ensuring affordable housing rents used in marketing are compliant

  • Calculating rent reviews

  • Assisting the Defects Manager in collating remedial works for void properties and managing contractors

  • Inspecting void properties to meet insurance requirements

  • Negotiating deposit returns and deductions

  • Collate information required for Board and internal reports

  • Uploading of certificates / renewal dates

  • Generating works orders and follow up with contractors

  • General property management admin support

Requirements

  • Solid experience of working in an lettings/property administrative role managing a high-volume workload is essential; within a housing setting desirable

  • Team player who is self-motivated, industrious and works well under pressure

  • Detail oriented, able to set priorities and complete simultaneous projects - strong organisational skills

  • Good time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Proven numeracy skills with a good academic record

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high level customer service

  • Computer literate including Microsoft packages, Outlook, Excel & Word

  • Previous residential property database experience (e.g. QUBE) highly desirable

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both written & oral at all levels both internally and externally

  • Professional, approachable and caring individual
