Maintenance Operative

Cobalt is working with a bespoke residential property developer to recruit a maintenance operative for a private residential development in South- East London. We are looking for someone to help with the maintenance of the apartment block, to act as the first line of reactive maintenance to the building plant and fabric. Our client is dedicated to helping their employees develop and grow within the company and is looking for someone who can become a key part of their facilities team.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assist with the day-to-day management of maintenance for the development, including support for the plumbing and electrical works within the property.

• Work alongside contractors to ensure services are carried out efficiently on site.

• Provide support and work alongside other maintenance staff in other local properties.

• Undertake regular H&S checks, fire/water testing and flat inspections to ensure the development remains a well-maintained property.

Our client is looking for a maintenance operative with a positive attitude and relevant maintenance experience preferably from a residential setting. You will be responsible for managing plumbing and minor electrical works, with the ability to analyse and diagnose larger maintenance faults, escalating as appropriate.
