Cobalt is working alongside an iconic client-side business looking for a proven manager to oversee their building and compliance team.
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role within the Facilities Management (FM) team, supporting both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the iconic Estate.
This role involves contributing to the development, promotion, coordination, and upkeep of all asset management and environmental systems.
As a craft-trained professional, the Maintenance Supervisor will lead, manage, administer, instruct, and assist Maintenance Technicians, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance services are delivered to all properties, including building fabric, plant, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead the servicing and maintenance of all properties, ensuring adherence to policies, processes, and best practices.
Provide proactive leadership to the maintenance team, managing and assisting technicians to maintain daily performance standards.
Monitor staff timekeeping and attendance, applying company policies as necessary.
Act as the lead maintenance representative in meetings and liaise with portfolio Facilities Managers.
Develop, manage, and monitor planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines and contribute to departmental guidance.
Ensure services conform to statutory requirements and Codes of Practice, liaising with relevant bodies
Assist in safety testing, fault-finding, and repairing fixed and portable plant and equipment
Advise on material and stock purchases for efficient and cost-effective maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills.
They should possess a strong understanding of mechanical plant operations and the ability to perform hands-on fault finding and reactive repairs. Additionally, the candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
