I am working with an established Property Management specialist with an impressive and expanding number of clients, across a vast range of properties that span across the UK.

They are seeking a Management Accountant to join their thriving team based in Manchester. This role allows insight into both sides of the ledger as the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day accounting duties across the company, as well as assisting with demands for the properties within their extensive portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing charges, recharges and reconciliation across a number of company accounts

• Producing the first draft of management accounts

• Ensuring all balance sheets are accurate and correct for month end, and undergoing reconciliations where necessary

• Submitting VAT returns on a quarterly basis and ensuring any reconciliations are accounted for

• Ensuring all accruals and repayment and processed monthly in a timely manner

• Undergoing the reconciliations of balance sheets

• Overseeing the entire Accounts Payable process across a high volume of invoices for the company, including payment runs and reconciliations.

• Forecasting and reporting cashflow on a weekly basis

• Undergoing payroll functions across the company

• Raise management fees and calculate wage recharges

• Collaborating on year end accounts to ensure service charge year ends are correct

Personal Specification

• ACCA or CIMA qualified or at final stages of qualification essential (study support provided)

• Prior knowledge of the property sector across the accounting process advantageous

• A proven ability to successfully prioritise workload and stick to deadlines

• Excellent and verbal communication skills, both written and verbal
