Cobalt is excited to be partnering with one of the UKs most prestigious property developers in their search for Management accountant to work closely with the Head of Finance.

This role is critical to the management, analysis and forecasting of costs across the high profile developments across the Southern region in order to provide accurate information for key business modelling requirements across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting monthly review of management accounts

• Providing insight into the cost reporting by ensuring the accuracy of the system and the impact of the profit forecasts for the various projects

• Work closely with the various project teams to monitor land, development, construction, sales and marketing expenditure

• Presenting financial and project reporting data to key stakeholders within the senior management team

• Ensuring the accuracy in the business modelling

• Overseeing management accounting processes in order to prepare the forecasts budges and risk analysis

• Key member in cost reporting and analysis meetings

Key Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified

• Working knowledge within the real estate or construction

• Ability and desire to work across multiple projects and critically review and solve problems quickly

• Strong ability to business partner across a number of stakeholders internally and externally

• Proficient in excel and working with large data sets in conducting analysis
