Salary: (£55,000 to £62,000)

Cobalt is currently recruiting a Management Accountant to join a national craft company, based in London. This community-focused client plays an imperative role in the support of the craft and industry by providing excellent training and work space to aspiring craftsmen and craftswomen. This company also specialises in the design and manufacturing of jewellery, as well as testing the quality of its materials.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, this Management Accountant vacancy exists to take 100% ownership of the management and statutory reporting of the company. This will involve the successful candidate preparing monthly management accounts and assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements. This role will also involve presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Job Responsibilities:

In addition to the above, this role will also include but not be limited to the following:

• Preparing quarterly management accounts and presenting this information to non-financial stakeholders

• Preparing the corporate budgets and committee reports

• Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements

• Correctly allocating income and expenditure to the funds

• Regularly reviewing the cost allocation model and ledger transactions

• Performing the Centre Service charge reconciliations

• Preparing weekly cash reports

What we're looking for:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified

• Experienced in financial reporting across a multi-entity environment

• Confident in presenting financial information to non-financial managers

• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards

• Accounting software experience (OpenAccounts is desirable!)

• Proficient in Excel
