Day Rate (Ltd) £125-150 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella company)
Cobalt is working with a NHS Trust in Somerset to recruit an interim Medical Electronics Technician, paying £125-150 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via an umbrella company).
Our client is looking for someone to work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with the Medical Electronics team while building relations with clinical and non clinical staff to ensure service needs are met.
You will have/be:
Responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out in an electrically safe environment, which minimises hazards as far as reasonably possible to the individual, colleagues or visitors to the Trust.
Responsible for ensuring that the individual's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and protective test equipment is maintained in a state fit for purpose.
Performing and recording commissioning and acceptance checks for all newly received equipment and in accordance with IEC 62353.
Keep up-to-date with advances in medical equipment technology, legislation, guidance and regulations pertaining to the maintenance and repair of medical equipment.
The ability and willingness to travel to client sites as required within and beyond Trust boundaries.
Repair and maintain a wide range of Medical Equipment (complex and non-complex) in accordance with departmental and/or manufacturers procedures and instructions, work in a rotation system to be familiar with different work areas and equipment.
