Cobalt have been instructed by a Global Property Specialist, Asset Management company in the Grimsby area to source for an Operations Manager for a well-known local shopping centre. This position has become available due to a long-term member of staff relocating.
In this exciting opportunity you will not only be involved in a refurbishment project which is expected to be over a 3 year period, with a value of over £17,000,000, which will include an addition of a leisure facility as well as food market stalls, but you will also have full autonomy in this family working environment.
You will work closely with the Centre Director where you can bounce your ideas and initiatives off, as well as being able to implement your own events and attractions in the centre with the retail tenants.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Overseeing total FM across the shopping centre including cleaning, security and both soft and hard services.
Being heavily involved in drafting and producing the Service Charge Budget.
Being a DLR for soft services.
Oversee all aspects of Health & Safety in accordance with the managing agents systems to ensure the safety of all shoppers, employees, contractors and tenants.
Maintain and develop good relationships with the tenants in the centre.
Being IOSH or NEBOSH accredited
Experience with drafting/producing a Service Charge Budget
Familiar with the current Health & Safety regulations
Experience in either Facilities Management, Building Management or Shopping Centre Management
