Payroll and Benefits Manager

London - East

£50,000k - £55,000k per annum

FTC 12 months

Cobalt is delighted to partner with and independent property consultancy, based in London. They are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Manager for an FTC maternity cover for 12 months.

Core responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of the monthly payroll and ensuring all changes are submitted, ensuring the efficient running of the payroll and deadlines are met.

  • Dealing with any queries and issues which may arise with payroll.

  • Manage and comply and administer the company pension scheme, liaising with the pension provider.

  • Reconciling any pension contributions and changes to the pension provider.

  • Be the designator super user for the internal HR system, pulling reports and diarising annual update as required.

  • Close communications support to the finance team, including payment details and employee data is updated on a regular basis.

  • Support the HRBP with the managing and maintain of the firm's benefits, collate data for the renewal process and implement benefits choices.

  • Review and update internal benefits communications to increase employee awareness and access.

Personal Requirements

  • Previous experience within the Reward function of a professional services HR department. This should include exposure to a range of compensation and benefit programmes and issues.

  • A high degree of computer literacy including a detailed knowledge of Excel and analytical techniques.

  • A high standard of oral and written communication and influencing skills including presentational skills.

  • Previous exposure to managing outsourced payroll essential

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages and attention to detail

  • Able to maintain the strictest confidentiality in connection with data, analysis and reports.

  • Able to work under pressure and demonstrate resilience and flexibility when required.

  • Able to manage own time effectively and meet deadlines as required.
