Another exciting opportunity has arisen in Manchester for a Planner to join an established consultancy with a great presence across the UK.

Our client has an experienced team who are renowned for delivering high-quality projects on behalf of a fantastic and varied client base that includes developers, house builders, private individuals, and local authorities.

The Planner will be part of a planning consultancy that has a fantastic reputation and presence across the UK with the office in Manchester housing a talented Planning team. As a Planner you will be responsible for:

• Managing and submitting planning applications across the residential and commercial sectors.
• The delivery of planning advice.
• Preparing Planning Statements, undertaking site appraisals, preparing grounds for appeal and other similar planning documentation.
• Preparing Local Plan representations
• Engaging with clients and local authorities.

Ideally the Planner will be able to demonstrate a breadth of planning experience across residential and commercial projects within either the private or public sectors. The Planner will be a chartered member of the RTPI, or working towards this, and will have experience of being involved in the assisting senior team members in delivering projects. Additionally, the Planner will be an excellent communicator capable of engaging with clients, Planning Officers, and colleagues throughout the planning process.
