A rapidly growing planning team based in the lovely city of Bristol is looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Associate Planner. The consultancy has earned itself a wonderful reputation UK-wide and bring forward a fantastic array of projects across the region.

Your workload will be broad in scope, the Planner/Senior Planner will play an integral role in the delivery of planning success for a varied client base that includes house builders, retailers, private individuals, public sector organizations, and developers. Your main focus will be on leading/assisting projects across the residential and commercial sectors - you will submit planning applications, handle appeals, manage and mentor junior members of the team and be proactive in maintaining strong client relationships whilst working to grow and maintain new business alongside existing leadership.

The ideal Planner/Senior Planner will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Experience in handling projects on behalf of a varied client base as well as being able to generate new business opportunities.

• The ability to manage the junior team with a focus on growing the team. Previous experience of this will be highly regarded.

• Possess excellent communication skills.

• Chartered membership of the RTPI is not essential but an extensive track record within the private sector will be beneficial.
