Programme Manager - Global Real Estate Consultancy - London / Birmingham
Our client is looking for a PMO for the strategic management of the delivery of a portfolio of build/fit-out projects. The PMO will work directly with a diverse cross-functional team of business stakeholders including executives and decision drivers.
Remuneration:
£35,000 - £45,000 + benefits + car allowance
The successful PMO will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive project controls system and providing executive oversight and project management support. The PMO position will review all relevant Programme elements including acting as an advisor to ensure that project development, feasibility assessment, design and construction meet the needs of the client and its stakeholders.
You will work with the internal client's stakeholder team to develop the programmes of appropriate activities; develop and maintain a client specific play book for project delivery activities and provide governance for the project management delivery team to ensure consistency in delivery and output. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; managing all associated stakeholders to enable programme to be delivered, working with the wider project teams, being accountable for the budgeting, resources and wider programme and developing and maintaining project control systems including the current schedule of all projects and related activities.
Requirements:
Degree in Project/ Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent
Relatable Project Management experience including successful completion of directly managed constructed projects ideally in the commercial sector
Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Working knowledge of architecture, engineering and design principles, building systems, code regulations and construction practices and the ability to apply this knowledge
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and computer database systems used in professional management organisations desirable
