Cobalt is working with a NHS Trust in Oxfordshire to recruit an interim Project Manager, paying £225-£250 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via an umbrella company).
Our client is looking for someone to be a key member of the estates and facilities senior management team; with responsibility for ensuring that those operational capital projects allocated to them are designed in accordance with statutory requirements, regulations and guidance; and delivered in accordance with the agreed programme.
You will have/be:
Responsible for communications relating to estate management with service managers, trust employees, and, when required, external and internal auditing and authorised bodies.
Have a background in QS, Service Engineering or Architectural/Building Surveying.
Support the Senior Estates and Facilities Manager to establish and nurture effective working relationships and partnerships with service managers and clinical leads throughout the Trust; including specialist advisors.
Responsible for the delivery of operational capital schemes, and ensuring that their delivery is safely and effectively managed, and that works undertaken are of suitable quality.
Have Detailed knowledge of HTM/HBN requirements in relation to design and construction.
Able to demonstrate expert knowledge of all aspects of design, including basic electrical and engineering design.
Experience of Project work working in a hospital setting across a number of areas.
The ability and willingness to travel to client sites as required within and beyond Trust boundaries.
An accomplished leader as you will have some line management responsibility.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
