Cobalt Recruitment are pleased to be working with a market-leading, Tier 1 developer and manager of large-scale, multi-occupancy accommodation, focusing on purpose-built residential properties.
Our client is a leader in developing, building, and managing residential for-rent homes and is looking to expand its quantity surveying division with an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent time to join them, having recently reported a record-breaking £2 billion project pipeline and many interesting projects to be completed.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will need to demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects and design of high-rise developments. With the seniority of the position, you will need the ability to act assertively to support a point of view, and influence decisions whilst maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and sub-contractors.
Duties in the role;
·Budget management
·Procurement and management of sub-contractors
·Line Management
Key Requirements:
·Degree qualified.
·Member of RICS ideal but not essential.
·Previous experience in a client-side or main contractor quantity surveying role of a similar asset portfolio.
·Excellent communication skills.
