Our client is seeking to hire a Reconciliations Clerk for a 3-month fixed term contract. This position involves handling tenant credit control, client accounting, management accounts, and addressing client and tenant queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the identification and allocation of unallocated funds.

  • Reviewing historical balances between landlords and tenants, and reaching out to these parties to initiate refund processes.

  • Collaborating with the bank to facilitate the return of any unidentified payments whenever possible.

  • Maintaining a thorough log of the actions taken to trace funds and identify the payors.

  • Conducting reconciliations of Tenant, Landlord, and Supplier accounts upon the identification of funds to ensure accurate application.

Background:

  • Administration and accounts experience.

  • An interest in pursuing a career within Lettings Accounts.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset.
