Regional Facilities Manager

Cobalt is working with a leading real estate brand as they seek a new Regional FM for a mixed-use portfolio in Berkshire and Surrey. You'll take ownership of around 10 properties in areas such as Reading, Maidenhead, and Guildford, with complete flexibility over home-working and site visiting patterns for 4 days a week, with 1 day a week based on the largest site.

Whilst this is a role offering you autonomy and independence, you'll still find yourself supported by a close-knit team culture, whilst working within one of the biggest and best names in the industry - giving you a strong platform to progress further should you desire it.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving to and inspecting your portfolios on a regular basis;

  • Managing the work of on-site contracted staff in-line with KPI's and SLA's;

  • Setting and managing service charge budgets;

  • Ensuring full health & safety compliance;

  • Promoting sustainability wherever possible;

  • Overseeing the effective maintenance of building plant and fabric, including any CAPEX works from time-to-time;

  • Building a lasting working relationship with occupiers to ensure a top-tier total FM service delivery.

As this is a remote role, it is essential you have a full UK driver's licence with access to your own vehicle (fuel allowance will be paid on top of car allowance for this role). An IOSH is essential as is previous multi-site Facilities Management experience - ideally in a real estate background with a track record in managing common areas of buildings and of managing service charges.
