Cobalt is searching for a home-based Regional FM to join a renown property company who, due to sustained success in 2020, is looking to proactively grow the team by hiring 2 new Facilities Managers. Our client is a medium sized property business with a long history at the forefront of the UK Real Estate industry, providing all the benefits of a large, established brand, whilst remaining small enough to offer an agile, flexible, family-feel culture for their employees.

Our client's portfolio covers London, and the home counties, down to the South Coast and the intention is to reconfigure the portfolio so that these hires have as small a geographical range in their portfolios as possible. You will be managing circa15 commercial, retail, and industrial buildings, working as a key part of a close-knit, evolving FM function, that will give you freedom, flexibility, and the opportunity to have your voice heard as they continue to grow in 2021.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Being a key driver of excellence in service delivery across a mixed-use portfolio, being a key voice in the long term strategy of the team;

  • Conducting regular site-inspections of your property, with visits organised as you deem necessary to deliver a top-tier total FM service;

  • Ensuring a comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance programme is in place;

  • Ensuring full compliance with UK health, safety, and sustainability legislation;

  • Setting, managing, and reconciling service charge budgets;

  • Managing the work of on-site staff from outsourced suppliers, against agreed KPI's and SLA's;

  • Having regular input into team-wide initiatives to further improve and grow the FM team.


You will hold a full UK Drivers Licence, and have access to a vehicle for this role. An IOSH qualification is essential, as is previous experience in a multi-site FM role, managing entire buildings and their common areas.
