Cobalt is assisting one of our long-term clients in seeking a standout Roving Facilities Manager for a bespoke portfolio in the North-West. You'll have a limited number of commercial multi-let offices and retail estates around Manchester, Liverpool, and Cheshire, enabling you to really sink your teeth into the portfolio and proactively manage it in order to create a first-class FM service delivery.

Within this role, you'll form a crucial part of a close-knit high-performing team, learning from some of the best FM's the region has to offer. You'll be given flexibility in your daily working life, alongside structured training and development )(including paying for industry qualifications such as a NEBOSH) - marrying up work-life balance with continued career progression for you.

This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Facilities Manager to progress within their career and have the potential to grow within a large well-established company.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site inspections of the portfolio;

  • Manage suppliers, contractors and external consultants as required;

  • Ensuring the portfolio meets legislative, regulatory and environmental standards, proactively managing risk throughout your properties;

  • Overseeing daily maintenance of the properties, including planned, reactive, and project works;

  • Setting and managing service charge budgets;

  • Working with the wider team to have input into the long term FM strategy for the region;

  • Helping to drive forward sustainability and wellbeing within your portfolio of 6-10 properties.

As the successful applicant, you'll be able to demonstrate a solid foundation of FM knowledge within the Real Estate sector; experience managing entire building(s) including common areas and plant rooms is essential. You'll ideally have your IOSH qualification too, but equally as important will be the energy and drive you bring to the role. Our client is seeking someone enthusiastic who wants to challenge themselves alongside industry norms, as they grow from strength to strength within their global business. It is essential you have a full UK drivers licence.
