Senior Client Accountant / Associate Partner

£50k - £60k per annum

Cobalt is exclusively working with a Chartered Surveyor who are looking to make a permanent hire in either their Mayfair or Essex office. This role would suit a candidate who is ready to take a step up from their current role as you will have the opportunity to take on more senior responsibilities whilst working alongside the current Associate Partner. Ensuring the team is running smoothly whilst handling your own Service Charge and Client Accounting duties and your own portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weekly upload of lease data into the clients own database

• Raising tenant demands for rents, service charges and ad hoc charges

• Year-end service charge account drafting and completion including prepayments and accruals

• Understanding and agreeing client reporting requirements

• Reconciliation and set up of take on balances in respect of new instructions

• Providing regular and other ad hoc analysis using Excel

• Preparing lease completion statements

• Tenant Account reconciliations

• Control, set up and maintenance of records on the Property Management database

• Dealing with tenants and landlords, and responding to their queries

• Liaising with Credit Control and Accounts Payable teams

• Working closely with surveying colleagues and on-site staff

Personal Attributes:

• Strong Service Charge background

• Experience working within a similar function

• Previous use of Qube or TRAMPS Property Management System

• Strong knowledge of Excel

• Professionalism within the workplace

• Outstanding organisational skills, both written and oral

• Approachable character
