Cobalt are working with a NHS Trust in Lancashire to recruit an interim Senior Engineering Manager on an initial 6 month contract, paying £220-240 per day LTD rate (inside IR35, via umbrella company).
The successful candidate will have technical, managerial and supervisory control over the engineering services team . The individual will be able to work within the relative specialities of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Building to ensure and manage planned preventative and reactive maintenance work to align with all statutory regulations and legislation.
You will have/be able to:
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent within a relevant Building Services or Engineering Professional Body.
Be responsible for the provision of technical advice and management to the engineering services staff and contractors within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities as appropriate.
Expert technical understanding of the range of highly specialist services and equipment found within NHS hospital setting.
Be responsible for maintaining compliance, through implementing and operating CAFM system.
Previous experience working within an NHS healthcare environment (preferably an Acute NHS Trust).
Possess strong leadership and effective communication skills.
