Senior Health & Safety Manager - 72879

Cobalt have been instructed on a Senior Health & Safety Manager position for a highly regarded, global company who are known in the UK for the modern, Grade A, Trophy Assets that they manage.

In this leadership style position, you will have full autonomy and will be reporting directly into the COO, as well as presenting to key stakeholders.

With your wealth of experience in the commercial property sector, you will be responsible for implementing initiatives and the delivery of health and safety across the company brand, giving you the chance to shape a positive, proactive health and safety service in your own image throughout the business

Responsibilities Will Include;

• Establishing a Health and Safety committee in the company

• Make formal reports to company Compliance Director, including accident statistics.

• Ensuring that the H&S Management System and Standards are readily used across all business lines and across the Estate

• Establish a system of dashboard reporting to the Board and the business line executives.

• Collate and review accident reports, investigation of accidents and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence

• Operate a programme for the audit, measurement and reporting of health and safety against agreed standards

Requirements For This Role;

• Membership or IOSH

• National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health - accredited by NEBOSH

• Experience working in the commercial property sector in a similar capacity

• Previous senior management experience within a health and safety role.

• Experience with implementation of health and safety systems and processes
