Cobalt Recruitment are working with an excellent Project Management & QS Consultancy in Hertfordshire to recruit a permanent Senior M&E Project Manager to join their high-performing team. This opportunity is offering a salary of £70,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Specialising in the healthcare sector, our client has developed experienced and effective project management teams. Working with local and national government healthcare departments, the private sector and building contractors, their accomplishments include flagship schemes such as new theatres, major refurbishments and upgrades. They are are a fast growing, dynamic company in search for highly energetic and motivated individuals that want to be a real part of a growth plan in shaping the future of the business.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for their designated projects, through budgeting, sourcing, and planning the project release. Your expertise will be used to contribute specialised process improvement initiatives across the business. Our client will look to you to provide big-picture assistance to the business and rely on you to manage all aspects of designated projects to ensure alignment of the overall program with strategic business objectives. Working alongside our client's growing, committed team, you will be highly enthusiastic as you go about your day-to-day duties, with a complete desire to excel in what you do; going the extra mile every time.

You will have/be:

  • Ideally educated to Degree-level in a related subject or to an equivalent standard and/or previous experience in a similar position.

  • NEC/JCT contract experience, and qualifications would be beneficial.

  • An understanding of the architectural and engineering requirements to enable the smooth management of design teams and project delivery.

  • Confident management of teams and external agencies from a broad range of backgrounds.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Reading and accurately interpreting programmes, drawings and technical specifications.

  • Ensuring project stakeholders understanding of drawings and technical specifications.

  • Excellent decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Solid organisational skills including multitasking, time management and follow-up capabilities.
