Senior Property Accountant - Property Management
Central London
£35,000 - £42,000

Our client is one of the largest real estate and investment firms in the world and due to high demand, a space has arisen for a Senior Property Accountant to join the business. You will have previous experience working within a similar function within Real Estate and the ability to manage your own portfolio of assets.

Job Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting on all service charge expenditure and project costs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

  • You will ensure that processes are in place to accurately to forecast and analyse expenditure trends across all departments and ensure financial targets are achieved

  • Review costs and expenses relating to management of the Estates, track against budgets and take corrective action where appropriate

  • Provide support with quarterly reconciliation processes and ensure all supplier invoices are checked and processed

  • Be responsible for acting client funding requests and making sure they are validated and processed

  • You will adopt the key role in co-ordinating and preparing the annual service budgets

  • Review and assist with external auditors in the preparation of the year end budget reconciliation

  • Manage key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Personal Specification:

  • Previous experience working a Commercial Real Estate Function

  • Extensive Service Charge experience

  • Strong IT skills across MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • You will be organised and have the ability to work to strict deadlines

  • Be a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • You will be able to work on own initiative
