Job Title: Senior Residential Portfolio Manager

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Location: South East London

Our client, a well-established Real Estate Investment Company, is looking for an experienced property professional with a strong background in Residential Property Letting and Management

The role will be to support the Director of Real Estate in the management and administration of the Property Portfolio including, day to day management, preparation of leases, rent reviews and service contracts, amongst other responsibilities summarised below.

Responsibilities:

  • To deal with all aspects of a new tenancy, including production of schedules for fixtures and fittings, maintenance of the Deposit Protection Scheme (and associated quarterly audit), and notification to relevant authorities and utility companies.
  • To produce and prepare Tenancy Agreements for Residential Properties in SE3, including liaison with Estate Agents and prospective tenants, ensuring that rent payments and deposits are properly calculated.
  • To administer end of tenancy arrangements, such as pre-inspection, final inspection, final rent payments and deposit refunds, and notification to relevant authorities and utility companies.
  • To contribute to close working relationships with all personnel and to help to build an open, honest, and happy culture that facilitates learning, creativity and excellence of delivery.
  • To be empathetic and courteous to residents and their relatives, treating them with care and consideration at all times and referring any issues or incidents directly to management/nursing staff as appropriate.

  • Equipped with strong organisational, administration and communication skills
  • Computer literate - confident Excel/Word user
  • Able to plan and manage busy workload
  • Enthusiastic and proactive, a genuine team player
  • Flexible, with a hard-working attitude
  • Able to take on responsibility and work on own initiative
  • The ability to build, develop and maintain working relationships
