Cobalt are delighted to be assisting Tritax Symmetry as they strengthen their offices in Manchester and Northampton with the addition of two Senior/Associate Planners.

The developer has a phenomenal reputation nationally for bringing forward environmentally sustainable logistics buildings and would provide a great opportunity for an experienced Planner who wants to tackle large-scale multiple phase planning applications and be involved in devising and implementing planning strategies from inception to scheme completion

Tritax Symmetry have an innovative team that are involved in some of the most dynamic schemes across the UK and have the expertise, track record and the sites to deliver high-quality buildings for their customers.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Working closely with Planning and Development Directors to review potential development sites

• Identifying opportunities and determining the potential for development

• Preparing site appraisals, devising planning strategies and timings for delivery of projects

• Managing the delivery and implementation of projects which includes working closely with appointed consultants

• Giving input into public consultation events and promoting the benefits of schemes to local communities and local authorities

The Manchester and Northampton offices are both entrepreneurial and collaborative workplaces where you will be working alongside existing Planning and Development Directors and the wider team to bring forward these exciting projects. We are seeking Planners with demonstrable experience of Logistics projects and the ability to devise planning strategies and oversee consultant teams. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be tasked with engaging internally to assist fast-paced decisions on sites and projects as well as overseeing external consultants, engaging with Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
