We are once again working with a prestigious FTSE 250 Real Estate and Asset Management business who are currently seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join their successful team based in South London.
The successful candidate will be working alongside an experience Service Charge Manager whilst completing your own service charge duties across their UK portfolio that is made up of commercial properties nationwide.
Duties:
Manage the service charge budget and reconciliation process.
Handle the service charge expenses review on a quarterly basis, long with providing summary reports to the Property & Facilities Managers.
Prepare the year end service charge reconciliation accounts for the property manager to review.
Assist in the analysis of service charge accounts during the due diligence of new acquisitions and aid the disposal of assets as instructed by the Head of Property Management.
Check and review the quarterly service charge demands for accuracy.
Assist the property & facilities managers with the creation of the annual service charge budgets and associated reports and analyses.
Working with the management accountants to monitor non-recoverable & capital expenditure and assist with internal reporting.
Personal Specification:
Commercial real estate experience.
Property Management System experience with MRI or a similar system such as TRAMPS/Yardi/Horizon
