Cobalt are delighted to be working alongside a reputable developer based in West London who are currently seeking a Property Accountant to join manage their Residential portfolio. This role is working across a diverse and expanding portfolio of residential properties, which will continue to grow as the development completes.

Undergoing multiple service charge year ends and ensuring that all scheduling across rent and service charge demands is completed accurately
Setting up new tenants, properties and processes on the property management system, and ensuring the on-boarding process is thoroughly verified and successfully
Presenting budgets internally and ensuring a clear line of communication across all departments, liaising with asset managers, surveyors to agree budgets and maintain relationships across new properties and projects
Thereafter ensuring any escalated tenant's queries are answered and the ledger remains balances across all accounts
Ensuring the reconciliation of accounts is completely on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Overseeing Service Charge budgets for the Residential Client Accountant when required
An in depth understanding of property management accounting across rent and service charges
Proven experience working across a busy work load, ensuring tight deadlines are met and exceeded
Ability to problem solved on the job and adapt quickly to changes in projects
ESSENTIAL: Working knowledge of a property management system such as Qube, MRI, Yardi or TRAMPS
