Cobalt is delighted to be working along side a leading property consultancy who are known for their progressive environment and dedication to their ESG commitments as a business.

They are looking to expand their successful team in the search for a Sustainability Manager to focus on their corporate delivery.

The successful individual will work closely with the Head of ESG, Social Value Manager, and key stakeholders to support the businesses corporate commitments. You will be the voice for the organisation and will be responsible for internal stakeholder engagement and external outreach working with marketing to implement initiatives to support corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Work alongside the Head of ESG & Sustainability and Social Value Manager to ensure that key objectives are met and supporting the delivery of ESG related commitments

  • Be responsible for the collection and analysing data to support the reporting of carbon footprint.

  • Manage sustainability initiatives and lead the Sustainability and Wellbeing Group.

  • Work alongside the marketing department to strengthen both internal and external sustainability dialogue through the creation of blogs and campaigns.

  • Engage with suppliers to ensure sustainability and ethical considerations are incorporated into procurement and supplier management processes.

  • Establish sustainable procurement initiatives and maintain scope 3 data collection and reporting.

  • Support the disclosure and reporting of carbon and energy data, such as ESOS and SECR.

  • Lead the production of Social Value reporting, showcasing experience using the National TOMs framework.

  • Support bid and tender responses relating to ESG & Sustainability service delivery.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to implement initiatives to support corporate strategy.

Core requirements:

  • Previous experience within a similar corporate sustainability role.

  • Analytical and data management skills.

  • Previous experience with Carbon reporting, Corporate Social Responsibility and/or Social Value,

  • Experience using the National TOMs framework and knowledge of circular economy principles.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of sustainability-focused communication campaign and sound understanding of corporate strategy and the ability to implement initiatives to support it.
