Team Leader/Senior Block Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000

Our client, an award-winning managing agent, is looking to add to their block management team and are subsequently seeking a knowledgeable and highly skilled property professional to help look after their expanding portfolio.
This role will be an opportunity to grow into a senior role with team management responsibility. Whether you already have direct reports, or are passionate about leadership and looking to take on more responsibility, this role could be for you!
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their own portfolio of properties, including:
Maintenance of the buildings and communal areas
Liaising with contractors regarding maintenance and major works
Site visits to ensure good building condition
Managing onsite staff, including concierge, cleaners and maintenance
Maintaining health and safety regulations and legislation
Producing and managing service charge budgets across the portfolio
Collecting ground rent
In addition to the previously listed responsibilities, you will be actively involved in Team Management:
Helping to oversee a team of Assistant Portfolio Managers and other junior staff members
Assist with the management of the wider teams portfolio
Supervise portfolio managers at quarterly meetings
Monitor the team's success through weekly meetings
Key skills required:
Significant experience managing a large leasehold portfolio
Background and passion for managing teams
IRPM Qualification desired
Strong customer service and attention to detail
Extensive knowledge of the section 20 process and dealing with major works projects
Strong budgeting and financial management experience
