Technical Client Accountant - MRI Software
London
£40k-£45k depending on experience
My client is a market leading organisation with a number of impressive portfolios that span across commercial, mixed-use and residential properties. They are seeking a skilled Client Accountant with a Technical focus working with MRI Accounting system to oversee a technical implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of the accounting process within property, as well as be proactive in problem solving and have a flare for software problem solving and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands on support with the implementation, software upgrades and ensuring the functionality of MRI
Overseeing a mixed-use portfolio of properties and ensuring all accounts are balanced and reconciled on a monthly and quarterly basis
Ensuring the Property Management System is functioning, and all properties are correctly recorded according to new information and instructions
Ensuring the accounts for all properties are accurate and up to date, resolving and writing of debts, to ensure all accounts are balanced
Reconciling accounts up to trial balance and assisting with queries
Implementing updates to the systems that would assist with this smooth running of accounts and day to day accounting
Personal Requirements:
Prior knowledge of the Property Management System MRI is ESSENTIAL for this role
An analytical mind and the ability to problem solve on the job, whilst adhering to deadlines
Strong and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
A team player who is results driven
