Are you looking for something more flexible, or seeking to work part-time? My client is a hybrid-working employer based in the South Wales region. This planning consultancy is super busy, and has a national remit, typically working with SME landowners and other developers, doing development management work and some strategic planning - all across the South of England - including Wales, the South West and London.

Due to an increased pipeline in work, they are seeking someone to join, either someone more experienced that could bring clients, or someone who could join at mid or junior level on a full- or part-time basis. You could work more in the office, or from home - as much or little as required, depending on level.

You will be involved in (among other responsibilities):

· Assisting on projects and managing a variety of scales of projects from small to major developments

· Dealing with pre-apps and manage planning applications through the development process

· Communicating and liaising with clients, stakeholders and local regularly

· Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the planning process

You will ideally:

· Have at least a year in planning, either in an LPA, consultancy or client-side.

· Be working towards RTPI or be MRTPI already.

· Be a strong communicator with excellent written work.

· Understand the Welsh planning system (although speaking Welsh is not necessary)

In reward for the hard work, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as the flexibility to succeed in a manner that works for both you and them.

Please apply here or give me (Kate) a call to discuss. My client is looking to find the right candidate as soon as possible - so if in doubt, do get in touch. I also have other clients and roles that may be of interest.

If you do not hear anything back within one week, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, but I will retain your details for future roles.
